Stopped by the recently opened The Invisible Studios for an all-night drum session last week. The sound and atmosphere in this space are amazing. Mark has certainly upped the ante for any studio offering the sound of the big boys at rates us common folk can afford. Anyone familiar with his earlier set-up at Vignes Place has seen the potential for this type of artists' haven--and has known it wouldn't be long before something like this would come along. I've recorded with Mark at both locations, and while I had always been happy with the sound at Vignes, this new studio is off the hook. The sound, the equipment, the look--Invisible Studios is a complete realization of Mark's sonic genius. I would earnestly encourage anyone undertaking a recording project (esp. drummers) to give consideration to this recording space. Truly the best sound I've ever experienced.
